Amaryllis (Hippeastrum hybrids) Information

There are several plants commonly known as Amaryllis.But there is a true Amaryllis
which is also known as Belladonna Lily. 
Amaryllis is an easy bulb to grow.Keep the plant cool 60-65 degrees F while in bloom but slightly warmer at other times when it is actively growing.


The Amaryllis grows best if located bright and sunny the year round.Provide bright light, but not direct sun.Make sure that rainwater can easily run out of the pot.about soil i should say that A regular potting or cactus mix can be used.Rich, well-drained potting soil.


If in bloom and grow in spring or summer the Amaryllis can be deep watered.In the winter, keep above 60?F. In the summer, move outside, but not in full sunlight.
